Wednesday, April 10

The April PTA Meeting will take place at 9:45 a.m. in Room 107. Please review the March Minutes prior to attending. April 8 marks National Volunteer Week so take a moment to thank your PTA volunteers for all the hard work they have put in over the past year.

School Store will take place during lunch hours on April 10.

Friday, April 12

Wear your BURR Spiritwear for Spirit Day

Poem in Your Pocket Day –– Children are invited to carry a poem in their pocket to share with friends and family. Here’s one to get you started:

Rose are Red, Violets are Blue,

BURR PTA Family Fun Day

Flyers were distributed for a fun family event at Superior Ice Rink during April break. Everyone can skate with rental for $9 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday April 25. Long Island Ducks

April 16 – Fun Pack Picture Day — No preparation required! Dress your child in their favorite school clothes for a spring-themed photo op. If you like the pictures that come home in a few weeks, you can purchase them or, if not, send them ask with no payment.

May 4 – I Love My Park Day — BURR families are invited for a morning of community service at Sunken Meadow State Park:

June 5 – PTA Council Blood Drive 1-7 pm at BURR Intermediate
