Hope all BURR Families had a wonderful and restful February Break! Thanks to all 4th and 5th Grade Chorus families for participating in performances of the National Anthem at the Stony Brook Women’s and Men’s basketball games last week. Here’s what’s going on at BURR this week:

NUTRITION WEEK: February 25 – March 1 

This week marks Nutrition Week at BURR! As part of our annual activities, we will be bringing back the very popular iGames Arts in Ed program for the kids during gym. CLUBS — All clubs are active this week

5th Grade Talent Show Dress Rehearsal – Wednesday February 27

All acts must be accompanied by a chaperone. Rehearsal will take place 3:30 to 5:30. Bring snack/water to the rehearsal. Send a note with your child on Wednesday to allow your child to attend the dress rehearsal. All acts will be required to stay for the duration of the rehearsal. PLEASE NOTE: Tickets to this year’s talent show are complimentary. Please disregard the ticket form request for payment that went out before the holidays. There is a 6 ticket limit per family.

3rd Grade Talent Show Forms DUE – Wednesday February 27

St. Baldrick’s – Friday March 1

Science Fair Boards DUE – Friday March 1

If your child is participating in the 3rd, 4th or 5th Grade Science Fair, all boards are due on Friday March 1.

5th Grade Talent Show – Friday March 1

All acts should report to Room 107 by 6:30 p.m. The show starts at 7 p.m. One parent may pick up their child after the show in Room 107.

Talent SHOW TICKET FORMS — All talent show tickets are complimentary this year. Please DISREGARD the request for payment on the 5th Grade ticket form that went out prior to the break.
